Abstract
Neoplasms of the prostate usually metastasize to pelvic lymph nodes or bone, or directly invade the adjacent pelvic organs. Ureteral metastasis of a prostatic carcinoma, without ascending spread along the ureter, is very rare, with only a few having been reported from autopsy series. Herein, the case of a prostatic carcinoma, distantly metastasized to the unilateral ureter, is reported. (Korean J Urol 2007;48:352-355)
