A Prostate Neoplasm Distantly Metastasized to the Unilateral Ureter

Abstract
Neoplasms of the prostate usually metastasize to pelvic lymph nodes or bone, or directly invade the adjacent pelvic organs. Ureteral metastasis of a prostatic carcinoma, without ascending spread along the ureter, is very rare, with only a few having been reported from autopsy series. Herein, the case of a prostatic carcinoma, distantly metastasized to the unilateral ureter, is reported. (Korean J Urol 2007;48:352-355)
